In 2006, he graduated with honors from the Faculty of Law of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (Bachelor's degree).

In 2008, he earned a Master’s degree in Law from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.

In 2010, he completed an LL.M. program at the Faculty of Law, Friedrich Schiller University in Jena, Germany.

In 2020, he defended his doctoral thesis at Humboldt University of Berlin, receiving the academic title of Doctor of Law (Doctor iuris).

In 2010-2023, he was an Assistant Professor and Assistant at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.

In 2007-2012, he held various administrative positions at the Faculty of Law, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.

In 2008-2010, he was a research fellow in a project funded by the Volkswagen Foundation (“VW-Stiftung”).

In 2008, 2011-2012, he was the scientific director of the student exchange seminar “East-West Network” (“Netzwerk Ost-West”).

In 2016-2017, he was the Head of the Staff of the Parliament of Georgia.

In 2017-2024, he was a member of the Parliament of Georgia.

In 2019-2024, he was the Chairperson of the Committee on Legal Issues of the Parliament of Georgia.

In 2019-2024, he was a member of the Advisory Body of the Chairperson of the Parliament of Georgia (Council of Treasurers).

In 2019-2024, he was a member of the Trust Group under the Defense and Security Committee of the Parliament of Georgia.

In 2019-2023, he was a member of the Prosecutorial Council.

In 2021-2024, he was the Head of the Friendship Group with the Parliament of the Republic of Austria.

Since 2015, he was aco-publishers of the German-Georgian Electronic Journal of Criminal Law (DGStZ).

Since 2023, he was an Associate Professor at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
