Functions of the Department:

• Development of recommendations for optimizing the work of the Human Resources Management Services of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia.
• Managing the process of selecting staff to fill vacancies in the Ministry of Justice.
• Development of proposals related to the professional development of the employees of the Ministry and resolving organizational issues related to it.
• Preparation of job descriptions for employees; Administration of the evaluation process of the professional public servant and the work performed by him / her and evaluating the results.
• In accordance with the established rule, within the framework of the nomenclature, preparation of draft orders for the appointment, transferring, dismissal, encouragement, vacation leaves and business trips of employees of the Ministry, and application of disciplinary measures.
• Reviewing and responding to various state and non-governmental institutions, as well as citizens' applications and letters on the issues within the competence of the Department.
