The Minister of Justice of Georgia, Paata Salia, held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Italy to Georgia, Massimiliano D’Antuono, to discuss prospects for strengthening legal cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting, the Minister outlined the key priorities of the Ministry of Justice, including the promotion of democratic values and the rule of law, effective representation of state interests in international courts, and the continued development of the penitentiary system and crime prevention mechanisms.

The meeting was also attended by First Deputy Minister of Justice Beka Dzamashvili and Head of the Department of International Relations and Legal Cooperation, Ketevan Sarajishvili.
