Georgian Minister of Justice Paata Salia met with Maltese Minister of Justice Jonathan Attard in Malta during the Conference of Ministers of Justice of the Council of Europe.

The meeting focused on the friendly relations between Georgia and Malta and explored opportunities for cooperation in the field of justice. Special attention was given to combating transnational organized crime and strengthening international criminal cooperation in this area.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed their readiness to deepen future cooperation.
