Rati Bregadze: "These People Are Engaged in Political Looting and Are Trying to Cause Unrest in the Country for their Own Political Interests"

The Minister of Justice responded to the calls made by the youth on Rustaveli Avenue to enter the Parliament and the threats against the police. Rati Bregadze believes that these calls serve to strain relations between Georgia and Ukraine and cause unrest in the country.

"These people today are trying to strain relations between Georgia and Ukraine, while Georgia is trying from the beginning to the end to demonstrate full support within all possible resources. These people are engaged in political looting and are trying to use this situation for their own political interests, to cause unrest in the country and thus gain power. It does not matter to them how they will gain power," said the Minister of Justice.

According to Rati Bregadze, any attempt of unrest against the rule of law will be prevented.

"Who will benefit by the unrest in Georgia today? Of course, this is not in the best interest of Georgia and, therefore, any attempt at unrest against the legitimate government will naturally not be allowed under any circumstances, and the Georgian government has every opportunity to act in the interests of the Georgian people and not allow Georgia to get involved in the war. This is our only interest,” said Minister of Justice, Rati Bregadze live on Imedi TV.
