Minister of Justice and Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Discuss the Prospects of Mutual Cooperation Between the Two Countries

Rati Bregadze held a meeting today with Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Georgia, Maaike van Koldam. The parties talked about ways of developing cooperation between the two countries.

The Minister of Justice emphasized the importance of sectoral cooperation with the Netherlands in the process of Georgia's European integration.

The meeting between Rati Bregadze and Maaike van Koldam was held at the Ministry of Justice.

Deputy Minister of Justice Tamar Zodelava Participates in Thematic Sessions of UN Global Event

Deputy Minister of Justice of Georgia Tamar Zodelava is participating in thematic sessions and discussions held as part of the 16th Session of the United Nations Committee of Experts on Global Geospatial Information Management (UN-GGIM).

As part of the session, Georgia expressed its support for the further development of the Framework for Effective Land Administration (FELA), as well as the establishment of an Effective Land Administration Hub. The initiative aims to facilitate the exchange of knowledge, experience, and best practices among countries and contribute to strengthening land administration systems worldwide.

Drawing on its substantial experience and expertise in land administration and geospatial information management, Georgia also expressed its readiness to join the newly established UN Expert Group on Land Administration and Management (EG-LAM). The group contributes to the development of land administration policies, key approaches, and global development priorities.

Georgia’s participation in the group will provide an opportunity to share the country’s experience and expertise in support of the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the development of the global agenda in the field.

Georgia’s participation in the 16th Session of UN-GGIM further underscores the country’s growing contribution to international efforts in land administration and geospatial information management. It also strengthens opportunities for sharing Georgia’s expertise internationally and deepening cooperation in these areas.
