The National Competition in International Humanitarian Haw Has Ended
The final stage was held on June 2-4 at the Kvareli Training Center of Justice. 6 best teams and 18 students, selected from 100 contestants participated in it.
The winner of the competition was the international law undergraduate program team of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Faculty of Law, composed of Davit Khustani, Naia Sisauri and Tsitsi Gigoidze. Mariam Maglagelidze, a student of Akaki Tsereteli State University of Kutaisi, was named as the best speaker.
The winners were awarded by Deputy Minister of Justice of Georgia, Beka Dzamashvili, and Head of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Georgia, Anne Montavon. Each participant of the final stage received certificates and thematic literature. The national competition in international humanitarian law was held with the support of the Ministry of Justice, the Training Center of Justice and the International Committee of the Red Cross. The Ministry of Justice will continue organizing student projects in the direction of international law in the future.

Deadline Extended for Applications: Selection of Georgian Candidates for Judge at the European Court of Human Rights.
The deadline for submitting applications for the selection of candidates from Georgia to be elected as judges at the European Court of Human Rights has been extended until September 1, 2026.
The competition is being conducted in accordance with the rules approved by Order No. 1139 of the Minister of Justice of Georgia, dated December 17, 2025.
