As part of the official visit of the Prime Minister and members of the Georgian Government to Kyrgyzstan, the Minister of Justice of Georgia met with his Kyrgyz counterpart.
Paata Salia and Ayaz Baetov discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral relations and deepen institutional cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting focused on Georgia’s successful reforms in the areas of the rule of law, human rights protection, and improved access to public services. The Georgian side reaffirmed its readiness to share experience in the digital transformation of the justice system and the implementation of modern technological solutions.
The Ministers also exchanged views on future cooperation, including initiatives in crime prevention, the resocialization and rehabilitation of offenders, and the strengthening of the probation system.
