Interagency Task Force for Free and Fair Elections (IATF) for Parliamentary Elections Holds its Seventh Session
The IATF members reviewed the response to information gathered through media monitoring.
The session was chaired by Minister of Justice Rati Bregadze and attended by Deputy Minister Beka Dzamashvili, along with heads of public agencies that are part of the commission. Representatives from international and local monitoring organizations, as well as political parties, also participated.
The Interagency Task Force for Free and Fair Elections (IATF), established under the Election Code, aims to prevent violations of election legislation by civil servants and address any breaches. The IATF is led by Minister of Justice Rati Bregadze.

Competition Announced for the Selection of Georgian Candidates for Judges of the European Court of Human Rights
A competition has been announced for the selection of candidates from Georgia for the position of Judge of the European Court of Human Rights. The competition will be conducted in accordance with the rules approved by Order No. 1139 of the Minister of Justice of Georgia, dated 17 December 2025.
Candidates selected through the competition will be nominated on behalf of Georgia to participate in the election of Judges of the European Court of Human Rights of the Council of Europe, to be held in 2026.
