Minister of Justice of Georgia Speaks with the Ambassador of Japan about Deepening of Sectoral Cooperation
At the meeting of Rati Bregadze and of Ishizuka Hideki, the Georgian Minister proposed to the Japanese ambassador, specific initiatives, which provide for the sharing of experience between the two countries in terms of management of penitentiary and probation systems, as well as improvement of the sphere of service delivery through new technologies.
Deputy Minister of Justice, Beka Dzamashvili also attended the introductory meeting with the Japanese ambassador.

Deadline Extended for Applications: Selection of Georgian Candidates for Judge at the European Court of Human Rights.
The deadline for submitting applications for the selection of candidates from Georgia to be elected as judges at the European Court of Human Rights has been extended until September 1, 2026.
The competition is being conducted in accordance with the rules approved by Order No. 1139 of the Minister of Justice of Georgia, dated December 17, 2025.
