An informational meeting on the upcoming UN Public Service Forum 2026 was held for UN-accredited diplomats and heads of mission.
The session was led by Beka Dzamashvili, First Deputy Minister of Justice of Georgia and Revaz Lominadze, Georgia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office at Geneva, who presented key details about the Forum, scheduled to take place in Tbilisi on 23-25 June.
Speakers highlighted the importance of the event, noting its role in strengthening public sector capacity and promoting more citizen-focused governance.
The 2026 Forum is jointly organized by the Ministry of Justice of Georgia and the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA), under the theme “Transforming Public Institutions: Advancing Innovation, Accountability, Participation, and Inclusion.”
The 2026 Forum will bring together senior government officials, representatives of academia,
thematic experts and representatives of international organizations.
The meeting was hosted by the United Nations Office at Geneva.
