Minister of Justice Anri Okhanashvili has appointed Irakli Beraia to the position of Deputy Minister.
Irakli Beraia is a professional economist and a graduate of the Faculty of Economics at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, where he earned his degree with honors. Beraia brings extensive experience in legislative work, having served as a member of the 9th, 10th, and 11th convocations of the Parliament of Georgia.
Prior to his political career, Beraia achieved notable success in the banking sector.

Deadline Extended for Applications: Selection of Georgian Candidates for Judge at the European Court of Human Rights.
The deadline for submitting applications for the selection of candidates from Georgia to be elected as judges at the European Court of Human Rights has been extended until September 1, 2026.
The competition is being conducted in accordance with the rules approved by Order No. 1139 of the Minister of Justice of Georgia, dated December 17, 2025.
