Minister of Justice of Georgia Paata Salia held a meeting with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain, Gareth Ward, to discuss prospects for future cooperation in the field of justice.
The introductory meeting focused on the Ministry of Justice’s priority areas, including human rights protection mechanisms, state service delivery policy, reforms of the penitentiary and probation systems, as well as the integration of digital governance and innovative solutions into the Ministry’s activities.
The Minister thanked the British Ambassador for the visit and expressed his readiness to further deepen bilateral cooperation in the field of justice.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy Minister of Justice of Georgia, Beka Dzamashvili and the Political and External Relations Secretary at the British Embassy, Jess Duckworth.
