During the introductory meeting, Deputy Ministers of Justice Beka Dzamashvili, Lana Morgoshia, and Giorgi Dgebuadze briefed the delegation on the key reforms implemented in the justice sector, as well as the strategic priorities of the Ministry.

The delegation expressed particular interest in the concept of the Public Service Hall and the experience of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia in introducing modern technologies, including the development of digital governance and the delivery of state services. The discussion also covered reforms of the land registration system, business-oriented services, and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.

Following the meeting, the delegation of the Republic of Botswana will familiarize itself with Georgia’s state service delivery model at the central branch of the Public Service Hall.

Minister of Justice of Georgia Paata Salia held a meeting with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain, Gareth Ward, to discuss prospects for future cooperation in the field of justice.

The introductory meeting focused on the Ministry of Justice’s priority areas, including human rights protection mechanisms, state service delivery policy, reforms of the penitentiary and probation systems, as well as the integration of digital governance and innovative solutions into the Ministry’s activities.

The Minister thanked the British Ambassador for the visit and expressed his readiness to further deepen bilateral cooperation in the field of justice.

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Minister of Justice of Georgia, Beka Dzamashvili and the Political and External Relations Secretary at the British Embassy, Jess Duckworth.
