In 1996, he graduated from the Faculty of International Law and International Relations at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.

In 1997, he obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from University of Oxford;

In 2007, he completed a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in European Union Law and International Relations at the College of Europe;

In 2005, he served as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia;

From 2014 to 2015, he served as Head of Staff of the Supreme Court of Georgia;

From 2015 to 2017, he served as Deputy Secretary of the National Security Council of Georgia;

From 2017 to 2019, he served as Ambassador at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia;

Since 2020, he has served as Rector of the Neiron Academy for Artificial Intelligence;

Since 2023, he has been a board member of the Blockchain Arbitration & Commerce Society.

Since 2019, Levan Bodzashvili has been actively engaged internationally in the fields of blockchain technology and artificial intelligence. His professional activities include tokenization, legal and regulatory compliance, regulatory interoperability, and advisory services for major private companies and governments across Europe, the United Arab Emirates, and the Gulf region. In 2024, he received a prestigious international award in the field of digital assets and blockchain technologies. He is the author of numerous articles and research publications on blockchain and ethical artificial intelligence.

Since October 2025, he has served as a pro bono advisor to the Minister of Justice of Georgia in the fields of blockchain, tokenization, and artificial intelligence. His responsibilities include providing strategic and legal guidance on blockchain technologies, digital assets, tokenization, and AI-related reforms; coordinating relevant working groups; and representing the Minister in relations with various organizations and stakeholders.
