Deputy Minister of Justice, Beka Dzamashvili Meets with the Ambassador of the Republic of India, Mrs. Nilakshi Saha Sinha
Deputy Minister of Justice Beka Dzamashvili welcomed the Ambassador of India, Mrs. Nilakshi Saha Sinha, and briefed her on the key activities of the Ministry of Justice. Their discussion emphasized the importance of legal cooperation between partner states in civil and criminal law, the implementation of innovative projects for state services, and successful reforms in the penitentiary system.
During the meeting, both parties also explored specific initiatives for future collaboration. Additionally, the Deputy Minister extended an invitation to the Ambassador to attend the UN State Services Forum, which Georgia will host in 2026.
Head of the International Relations and Legal Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Justice, Ketevan Sarajishvili was also present at the meeting.

Competition Announced for the Selection of Georgian Candidates for Judges of the European Court of Human Rights
A competition has been announced for the selection of candidates from Georgia for the position of Judge of the European Court of Human Rights. The competition will be conducted in accordance with the rules approved by Order No. 1139 of the Minister of Justice of Georgia, dated 17 December 2025.
Candidates selected through the competition will be nominated on behalf of Georgia to participate in the election of Judges of the European Court of Human Rights of the Council of Europe, to be held in 2026.
