Georgian Minister of Justice Takes Part in Council of Europe Ministerial


Georgian Minister of Justice Paata Salia is attending the Conference of Ministers of Justice of the Council of Europe, held in Malta.

During the high-level meeting, Minister Salia signed the Third Additional Protocol to the European Convention on International Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters. The protocol is designed to modernize and enhance the effectiveness of interstate cooperation in criminal cases, particularly in light of contemporary technological challenges.

The ministerial conference focuses on combating transnational organized crime and strengthening mutual legal assistance. Justice ministers from all Council of Europe member states are participating in the event.
