Minister of Justice Rati Bregadze Discusses the Current Projects, Achieved Results and Challenges with the Employees of the Offices of the Ajara Region
The meeting was attended by employees of the State Services Development Agency, the Public Service Hall, the National Public Registry Agency, the National Archive, and the National Bureau of Enforcement.
">The Minister of Justice and Deputy Minister, Erekle Gvinianidze attended today the meeting held at the Batumi Public Service Hall. The conversation mainly touched on the activities planned to increase the availability of services.
From the part of the employees, it was noted that the opinions expressed at the previous meeting have been taken into account, and the challenges have been resolved. The material and technical base has been updated and the salaries of the employees have been equalized.
"Continuous dialogue with employees in the system of the Ministry of Justice, honest conversation about problems and joint care for their solution is the main key to the success of any organization," said Minister of Justice, Rati Bregadze.

Rati Bregadze Continues Meetings with Employees of the Regions
The Minister of Justice held a meeting today with the employees of the Ozurgeti and Kobuleti Public Service Halls, the State Services Development Agency, the National Public Registry Agency and the National Archives and got acquainted with their needs on the spot. The Minister also talked to the employees of the regional office of the Chamber of Notaries and discussed with them the current innovations throughout the Ministry.
Rati Bregadze continues meetings the employees of the regional office in Western Georgia. The Minister already visited the Kutaisi Public Service Hall, where he talked to the employees about the progress achieved in the Agency.
Continuous improvement of existing services in the system of the Ministry of Justice and increase of access to services remains one of the priorities for the Ministry of Justice. For this purpose, the agency will intensively implement the development of innovative technologies and the construction of Public Service Halls in 2023.
Penitentiary institution of the highest European standards Opens in Georgia
Laituri Penitentiary No. 1 is undergoing final interior design works. Minister of Justice, Rati Bregadze, Deputy Minister, Erekle Gvinianidze and Head of the Special Penitentiary Service, Nika Tshvarashvili got acquainted today with the working process on the spot.
Laituri prison is a small penitentiary and is designed for about 700 prisoners.
Ensuring the highest standards of human rights protection and the living conditions of convicts/accused in Georgia, as well as constant care for the working environment of the employees of the Special Penitentiary Service, is one of the main priorities of the Ministry of Justice. The new Laituri penitentiary also serves this purpose. It is fully tailored to the needs of both accused/convicts and facility staff.
Laituri Penitentiary will be opened this year, where 500 people will be employed, including local residents.
